Collaboration with Unity Council for the East Palestine Train Derailment

Future Studio is supporting residents from East Palestine in raising awareness around the humanitarian crisis in East Palestine, Ohio, and surrounding communities.

Impacted residents still have unmet needs such as indoor air testing, healthcare monitoring/treatment, relocation and replacement of belongings and equality at the Norfolk Southern assistance center. Alarmingly, despite Norfolk Southern’s poor safety record, the company is moving forward with plans to increase the number of double-stacked trains traversing some of Pittsburgh’s most densely populated neighborhoods including EJ communities, starting in 2026.

This public projection shares the stories of East Palestine area residents and demands that Norfolk Southern ‘Make It Right’.
